How long shall the formwork for concrete keep attached before dismantling?
Apr. 23rd, 2011
Formwork for concrete is widely used in construction industry, like Build a house, build roads, build bridges. However, due to different application, its attachment duration before dismantling is as below.
1. For wall, normally 12 hours.
2. For roof, it takes 28 days to reach the strength of 75%.
3. For cantilever base, like balcony slab, the duration is estimated by 100% strength.
4. Wall and column and girders side formwork dismantling: concrete strength should reach a strength that the surface and corner angle won’t be damaged when being dismantled. Normally, formwork can be dismantled at a strength with 1.0Mpa. Dismantling of formwork should be controlled according to strength level, environment temperature and maintenance.
5. Girders and slab bottom formwork dismantling: girders and slab span within 2m shall be with a strength of 50%, 2-8m span, the strength shall be 75%, strength shall be more than 100% when span is more than 8m.

Huada Heavy Industry form traveller and movable scaffolding system machine also need formwork for concrete, but is different from above usage. Its dismantling duration and launching to the next span time is precisely calculated by engineer according to its span, width, cast-in-situ concrete density.

Form traveller and movable scaffolding machine are specially used for bridge construction with large span. They are suitable for concrete template work longer construction period. We customize various form traveller and movable scaffolding system according clients needs. Welcome inquiry.
